Pentru oricine ieșit din pubertate asta cam miroase a ștrengărie. Din fericire, e ușor de verificat și nici nu durează mult. Bunăoară, pe trustpilot, la prima strigare, am găsit spețe similare. Iată două mai recente:

Drept urmare, i-am răspuns lui Alexander Thomas, cu toată reținerea reclamata de faptul că mă adresam totuși unui tiz (deși, în treacăt fie spus, renunțasem deja la logo-ul lor):

You are trying to extort me, are you not? That’s not very sporting, considering I did pay you for that logo.
If you do copyright that to someone and I can no longer use it, I expect you to reimburse me + interest.
Otherwise, you can go fuck yourself and die, as many times you can and I do hope you have 9 lives like a cat.

By the way, if you didn’t expect that I’d check you out on this tactic we are simply not operating on the same level of respect I’d expect we would.
It would seem, the story has it, that you are doing the same with other clients of yours.

Cum era și de așteptat, nici urmă de rambursare. Acum nu că n-ar fi dreptul lor să-și revândă marfa sau ceva, însă, de curând (adică la mai bine de doi ani după prima tentativă de tapaj), primesc iar e-mail de la ei, de data asta de la Oscar Marshall, într-o e-misivă formatată de parcă ar fi scrisă ca rezulat al unei beții orgiastice-n timpul lui Pidar Mândrie:

Hi Alexandru,

Kindly be informed that we have a client who wants to proceed with the copyright ownership of the same logo design symbol for the trademark that you purchased from us and using. You purchased this logo first and used it for so long that’s why we are approaching you first to retain its copyrights/ownership right to secure your logo. We have no objection to providing him the logo with full copyright ownership; however, if the new buyer registers it as a trademark, you may no longer be able to use the same logo legally anywhere.

The Standard Cost of Exclusive copyright ownership is $299 (one-time fee). After purchase, you will be provided complete documentation and the design will be permanently deleted from our database and website.

Please confirm if you would like to proceed with the purchase so I can share an invoice and payment link.

Note: In case of no response we would assume that you are not interested in copyrighting the logo design and in that case, Ownership copyrights will be sold to the available client.
